By using Ever Energy, you agree that Cook Investments Australia Pty Ltd may collect, use and disclose your personal information as set out in this privacy notice.

Cook Investments Australia Pty Ltd collects personal information about you for the purpose of operating the Ever Energy service. This includes information you provide, information created by Ever Energy in relation to your use, and information received from linked Services about you.

Personal information you provide includes:

  • your email address
  • your mobile phone number
  • your questions and answers provided
  • any other information about you to facilitate answering your enquiry

Information created by Ever Energy about you includes:

  • asking for information about the job site
  • asking for desired hardware and specifications for the job

Personal information collected from linked Services includes your name and contact information, terrain about location for installations where applicable, suitable exposure and accessibility to the work zone.

Cook Investments Australia Pty Ltd collects, uses and discloses personal information for the administration of Ever Energy, to provide you with Ever Energy messages, and to allow them to update your details with regard to a formal quote.

Administration of Ever Energy

Cook Investments Australia Pty Ltd collects, uses and discloses your personal information for the purpose of operating the Ever Energy service. This includes collecting, using and disclosing your information to:

  • allow you to answer questions about your application
  • administer, maintain and provide you support in relation to your Ever Energy Quote
  • allow you to contact Ever Energy Services.

Ever Energy messages

Cook Investments Australia Pty Ltd collects, uses and discloses your personal information to provide you with Ever Energy messages in relation to this enquiry only, to:

  • advise you by email or text message to any other email address or mobile number held by Ever Energy whenever Ever Energy is not able to notify you by your preferred method
  • notify the subcontractors whenever Ever Energy is not able to advise you by email or text message of a new message from the subcontractor
  • notify the subcontractor when you access a message from that subcontractor.

 Update your details

Cook Investments Australia Pty Ltd may collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purpose of allowing you to Update Your Details with Member Services. This includes collecting, using and disclosing your information to notify your linked Member Services of updates to your details (such as your name, date of birth and contact details).

Other collections, uses and disclosures

Cook Investments Australia Pty Ltd may also collect, use and disclose your personal information, where:

  • you have consented to the collection, use or disclosure for that purpose, or
  • Cook Investments Australia Pty Ltd is required or authorised by law to collect, use or disclose your information for that purpose (including for the purpose of conducting investigations into suspected unlawful activity).

Cook Investments Australia Pty Ltd does not usually disclose personal information collected for Ever Energy to overseas recipients.

Cook Investments Australia Pty Ltd uses session based cookies. Session based cookies are temporary cookie files transferred to your computer and erased when you close your browser. These cookies are used by Ever Energy to allow you to perform functions within Ever Energy once you have signed in, and to gather anonymous website usage data to help improve Ever Energy.

Cook Investments Australia Pty Ltd does not use persistent cookies. These are cookies that remain on your hard drive until you erase them or they expire.
