Case Study

Marland Mushrooms

In Stapylton, Queensland, Ever Energy constructed a tailored 800kW solar farm for Australia’s largest mushroom supplier with 1.1 hectares of temperature-controlled growing facilities.

Ever Energy tailor-designed, engineered, supplied and installed an 800kW Solar PV system featuring real-time solar and network consumption monitoring equipment. This enables Marland Mushroom to log and monitor not only it’s solar PV generation, but also its self-generated consumption, grid electricity network consumption, and its exported electricity generation.

On average, Marland Mushroom was using 9MW of power from the grid per day. Since completion of the solar system build, they’re now generating approximately 5.1MW per day to the site’s energy consumption. After 2.8 years of having the solar farm in operation, Marland Mushroom’s initial investment will be paid for on this project.

Gromor Enterprises Pty Ltd

Across four locations in remote central New South Wales, Gromor Enterprises Pty Ltd required several solar generators totalling in 2MW of renewable energy.

Gromor Enterprises Pty Ltd made a pioneering move in the nation’s horticulture industry with the launch of their multi-location solar power system.

Ever Energy custom built four on-sight Solar PV systems – 1MW, 600kW, and 2 x 240kW. The installation of these tailored systems allowed this client to save $633K in their first year after their investment.

On average, these sites were using 14MW of power from the grid per day. Since completion of the solar system build, they’re now generating approximately 10.5MW per day, contributing to the site’s energy consumption.
